Privacy screens

Nowadays, the modern privacy screens that are available are not just made of wood or metal; they can also be made of plastic as privacy screen strips inserted into metal grid fencing. Long, mostly green or grey plastic strips are fed through the grids in a wave-like fashion, so that it looks woven. The material typically used is PVC. ER&GE has developed a more cost-effective and environmentally friendlier alternative, made from polypropylene. This material behaves just like PVC in terms of opaqueness, UV resistance and low-temperature impact strength. However, in case of fire it does not release dioxins or hydrochloric acid gas, like PVC. Being low-weight, it comes with an added cost advantage over PVC. ER&GE sells the finished product to interested traders and processors.

Anti-slip mats

This problem doesn’t just exist in the kitchen drawer: loosely inserted items move around whenever the draw is opened and closed. Apart from the mess, it causes, scratches, surface wear and tear and damage to the drawer. Therefore, ER&GE has developed an anti-slip mat for kitchen manufacturers which minimises sliding. It is made from polypropylene that is co-extruded on both sides – a particularly grippy material that creates the anti-slip effect. It can be manufactured with different surfaces, such as square-shaped knobs or a beaded surface. Moreover, the colours can be freely customised, according to the RAL system or corporate/brand colours. This product is suitable not only for kitchen drawers, but also for other areas. It is an interesting addition for manufacturers of office or household goods, furniture suppliers or kitchen manufacturers, who are looking for distinctive features.

Floor protection mats

ER&GE has developed a non-slip floor protection mat to prevent damage from office chairs being rolled around. No matter whether it is used with a carpet, parquet floor or tiles, the mat will stay still underneath thanks to an anti-slip feature on the reverse side and it will not move. At the same time, the wheels on the chairs roll more smoothly. The classic variation of the floor protection mat is a square or rectangular underlayer with a grained or beaded surface, rounded corners and colour-neutral, slightly opaque transparency. This ER&GE version, made from polypropylene, is significantly more cost-effective than the ones made from polycarbonate. With ER&GE you can personalise items, for example by choosing a certain colour for the mat or by including a logo imprint. This product does not just appeal to manufacturers of office items and furniture, but also suppliers of promotional items who want to use the mat for merchandising with a logo imprint.
